Rapé & Sananga
Rapé
As a master plant and grandfather spirit, tobacco has been used sacredly for thousands of years. In combination with the ashes of trees, Rapé clears the sinuses, moves through the lymphatic system, and starts a detoxification process in the body. Energetically, Rapé has protective, grounding, and clearing properties. It works on the chakras to remove energetic blockages and activates the pineal gland.

Rapé is often used before or in combination with other sacred plants to bring focus and calmness before and/or during the ceremony. Otherwise, it may be used before meditation to strengthen intention-setting and clear one's energetic field.
Breathe and you dwell in the here and now, breathe and you see impermanence is life."
-Thich Nhat Hanh
The eyes are windows to everything we see and design. Our eyes store everything, even our history. The spirit of Sananga facilitates healing. It expels all the ills of soul and matter."
-Tuin Hua Kaxinawá
Sananga
Sananga has been used by indigenous groups for thousands of years in the Amazon to dilute Panema, which is believed to be the energetic force behind disease. It has also been used to sharpen vision before hunting in the rainforest.

Sananga is made from the root of an Amazonian shrub, Tabernaemontana Undulata, which has alkaloids similar to Iboga, that is used in the form of eye drops. The root is shredded and made into a yellow liquid that is applied as eye drops. It causes a strong burning sensation for 3-10 minutes, which clears the vision to see the world more vibrantly and colorfully.

On a physical level, Sananga is linked to treating eye infections, sinusitis, chronic headaches, glaucoma, cataracts, astigmatism, conjunctivitis, dry/red eyes, photophobia, and keratoconus. On an energetic and spiritual level, it aids in the decalcification of the pineal gland to open the third eye and emotionally balances the person it is applied to.

Sananga may be used before or after Kambo or with other sacred plants to also aid in clearing detox residue from the eyes.
